World Environement Day 2016

On 3-6-2016, a drawing competition and essay competition for school children was held at the Kukkarahalli premises as part of the upcoming World Environment Day. 300 children enthusiastically participated in this competition. The 'Kava' professors selected winners of the competition. The competition was divided into three categories: 1st to 4th grade, 5th to 7th grade and 8th to 10th grade. The Essay Competition was organized for students from 8th to 10th grade.

On 25-6-2016 World Environment Day was celebrated with the current year's slogan, ‘Go Wild for Life’. Members of the Mysore District, Legal Services Authority Mysore, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and Indian Engineers Organization Mysore were present and contributed to the success of the program. Plants were planted in the premises of The Indian Institute of Engineers, Mysore.  Judge Sudheendranath S., Hon'ble District Collector Mrs. C Shikha, Senior Environmental Officers Shri. M. Lingaraju, Environmental Officer G. Raghuram, Shri M. G. Mr. Sathish, and Mr. Dr. T. H. Udayashankar and Smt. Vijayalakshmi N. G President of Sri Rajaguru Gnana Jagruthi Samsthe and others were present. Prizes were distributed to the children who participated in the competition.
